Brent Buckley is
a NOVA/DC - based musician with over 35 years of experience as
teacher, composer, guitarist and keyboardist. Brent has worked
in many musical genres including rock, top 40, metal, blues,
classical, jazz, country, show bands, and pit orchestras. Brent offers private
guitar lessons, solo performances, and a wide array of services including
recording, mastering, and custom compositions and arrangements. He also fronts
Mountainside, a power trio in the classic style featuring Bill Flexsenhar (basses) and Brad Davis (drums/vocals). He's written
custom music for commercial clients GEICO and ATPCO among others,
and released “Drivin’ In My Sleep" (TV Tray
Records 1220), a CD collection of country/blues-tinged rock tunes
and acoustic guitar solo pieces. His latest release is 2011's "Dream Girl", a digital-only single with a brooding edge that recalls his new-wave days. Member American String Teachers Association.

12/17 update
Brent's spinal surgery appears to have been successful, though the recovery is taking longer than we hoped. Thanks everyone for the good wishes, and we hope everyone has a great holiday season! Students: the current plan is to resume lessons the first week in January as follows:

NOV.5 - Philadelphia Tavern
10/17 update: new single "Dream Girl" now available on iTunes and CDBaby, also via Facebook. This tune harks back to Brent's days with new-wave rockers Strangelove, who played it at every gig. Some have said this new recording (done at Brent's TV Tray Studio with him playing all the instruments) is reminiscent of The Cars and Thomas Dolby with a modern edge.
10/10 update: Live acoustic gig this FRIDAY 11/14 at Afterlife 360 in Manassas, come on out!...My new single "Dream Girl" is finished at last, available in a day or two on my new Facebook Music page (search Brent Buckley Music), where you can also download tracks from the "Drivin' In My Sleep" album. "Dream Girl" will be available on iTunes and Amazon.com in a couple of weeks, stay tuned.
